That range of tests, including comparative tests with other products, was undertaken covering volumetric wear, corrosion (salt spray test – BS 7479) and co-efficient of friction. The tests were undertaken on different metals in a variety of environments (including extreme heat and cold). 2,000 tests were taken at every degree of temperature interval from -60°C to +60°C without a single failure.
